Help Romie (La Donna) Henson fight breast cancer

No one wants to hear the words, “you have breast cancer.” That is exactly what our friend, your wife, your mother, your daughter, your aunt, your cousin, your co-worker Donna Henson heard on Friday, October 15, 2021. I cannot imagine the whirl wind of emotions after this diagnosis. I do know that when I spoke to Donna afterwards that she has an unwavering desire to live strong, and bold. She demonstrated courage when she told me that she is electing to have a double mastectomy. So courageous and so assured with great determination.

Donna has strong faith in our sovereign God and He is still in the miracle making business. Our prayer is for complete healing. Will you be a prayer warrior?

Donna is one of the most authentic, genuine, and transparent people I know. I have known Donna since elementary school. Somewhere over the years, she started calling me Sis. This is short for sister. It warms my heart every time she says it. Now, I want to warm hers by reaching out to as many family and friends to put a circle of love, support, and prayers around her.

Donna has a son, Morgan, and a husband, Greg. To add to Donna’s urgent need, Greg is also experiencing some serious health issues. So, we are asking for healing for this union.

Let us put a circle of support: mental, spiritual, emotional, physical, and financial around the Henson family. Let us show what a community of love looks like and watch our efforts multiply.
