Help Romeyvi and Rodmel Rebuild their Lives

Donation protected
I am a friend of Rodmel Angulo and Romeyvi Ortiz. Their family has been through a horrible ordeal.

Rodmel was one of the men who was arrested by ICE and sent to a prison in El Salvador where he was tortured.

Rodmel entered the US legally in 2024 and was working in Washington DC, but because he was worried about the deportations of Venezuelan men, he tried to claim asylum in Canada in February.

Canadian officials handed him over to American Immigration who sent him without charges, evidence or a chance for a trial to El Salvador where he was tortured for over three months.

In a great blessing, Romdel was released back to his family in Venezuela in a prisoner swap with the US in July.

Their family is so happy to be reunited, but they had to use every penny they had to survive without Rodmel, and they have nothing left to start over.

They have the skills, experience and drive to build a successful fast-food restaurant, and that’s what they would love to do. Here is what they need to get that started so they can support their family.

*Rental of premises, deposit, and one month's rent: $800.
*A hot dog and burger cart: $800
*Cooler for refrigerating merchandise: $300.
*Awnings, tables, and chairs: $400.
*Utensils: $200.
*Uniforms and advertising: $220.
*Merchandise (food): $800.
Total: $3,520.
