Help Romeo Rabbit Rescue Obtain A Commercial Lease

Donation protected
Romeo Rabbit Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit corporation. We began our journey in July, 2021 when we rescued 11 baby bunnies being sold for meat. Since then, we have gained much recognition by our local rabbit loving communities. As of today’s date (September 29, 2022) we have rescued 72 rabbits and found loving adoptive homes for 43 of them. All of our bunnies are spayed, neutered, and vet cleared prior to adoption. Once we are able to increase our funding, will be able to vaccinate all bunnies against the deadly RHDV virus as well.

After a year of extensive work rescuing so many unwanted and abandoned domestic rabbits, we were finally able to obtain our 501c3 non-profit status.

We are currently operating primarily out of foster homes, but are ready to take our corporation to the next level and are in search of a commercial property for lease to move RRR into. This step will
be crucial for the continuation of Romeo Rabbit Rescue and will allow us to make a much greater impact in the community, not just for rabbits in need, but for our fellow citizens as well.

Rabbits are one of the most therapeutic companion pets and we enjoy bringing our rabbits into the community to bring smiles to many faces and to warm many hearts. We offer bunny visits for local nursing homes, senior living facilities, and adult day cares, as well as homeschool field trips during which we educate families about the difference between wild and domestic bunnies and promote the ever growing popularity of the house rabbit. We would love to expand our bunny visits to include VA hospitals, children’s hospitals, special needs centers, and troubled youth because we believe that the incredible healing power of bunnies can truly make a positive difference in the lives of all people, especially those who are in dire need of feeling loved and accepted.

In addition to our community outreach programs, we will also be able to increase our bonding services currently offered, expand to offer much needed boarding services, as well as grooming and nail trims.

And, of course, we will we will be able to increase our capacity potentially three-fold, allowing us to save the lives and so many more rabbits in need. Your tax-deductible charitable donation will help make all this possible and more as we have many more ideas to benefit the rabbit community for future implementation.

Thank you for your generosity and support! ♥️
