Romeo is a big lovebug who adores snuggling and being the center of attention. He’s been my mom’s best companion, especially since my brother passed away. Their bond has brought so much love, comfort, and joy to our family during some of the hardest times.
After my brother’s passing, Romeo was diagnosed with heartworm disease, which is also a very expensive treatment, and my mom was able to provide the care he needed. But recently, things have become much more difficult. Money has been tight, and over time Romeo has developed several masses that are growing and changing. One on his foot is making it painful for him to walk and difficult to get around easily, and my mom just can’t afford to take him to the vet right now.
The funds raised will go directly toward Romeo’s vet visits, surgery to remove the masses, diagnostics, medication, and the necessary vaccines for his hospital stay. He’ll need several masses removed, follow-up appointments, and the doctor will want to send all the samples to the lab for histopathology. Every bit of support will help give Romeo the best chance at recovery and bring peace of mind to my mom, who has already been through so much.
If you know how the love of a pet can affect someone’s life in such a positive way, then you understand why this is so important for my mom. She’s personally been through a lot—losing several family members in recent years and beating colon cancer. Any support, whether it’s sharing, donating, or sending good thoughts, means the world to us.
