Help Romeo Get Back on His Paws – ACL Surgery Fund
Donation protected
Hi everyone,
My name is Gail, and I’m reaching out on behalf of a very dear friend who is a devoted dog mom to two incredible pups—Romeo, an 8-year-old cocker spaniel rescue, and Rafi, a 6-year-old Heinz 57 rescue. She welcomed them into her life six years ago, and from that moment on, they became her family. She’s poured her heart into giving them the best life possible—full of love, care, and joy.
Recently, Romeo was diagnosed with a torn ACL. If you’ve ever loved a dog, you know how hard it is to see them in pain. Romeo is struggling to walk, play, and rest comfortably, and the only solution is surgery—an urgent and necessary procedure that will allow him to live a pain-free, happy life again.
My friend, like many responsible pet parents, invested in pet insurance from the start, believing it would provide peace of mind in times like these. Sadly, due to policy technicalities and processing delays, the insurance company has denied coverage. After years of faithfully paying into this plan, she’s been left to face this unexpected cost alone.
This is both an emotional and financial hardship. She lives on a single income and has no immediate family beyond her two boys, Romeo and Rafi. Her friends have become her chosen family—and today, I’m turning to you on her behalf. She would never ask for help herself, but I know she’d give it in a heartbeat if someone else were in need.
Romeo’s surgery and aftercare will cost approximately $5,500. Every dollar raised will go directly toward his medical expenses. If you’re able to contribute, no matter how small, it would make a tremendous difference. And if you can’t donate right now, simply sharing this page can help us reach others who might be able to help.
Thank you so much for your kindness, compassion, and support. Your generosity can help ease my friend’s heartache—and help sweet Romeo get back on his feet where he belongs.
With love and gratitude,
Gail
