It is with heavy hearts and deep urgency that we ask for your support for our beloved friend Romeo, who is courageously battling advanced colorectal cancer.

Over the past months, Romeo’s health has declined in ways that are both heartbreaking and medically complex. What began as a fight against colorectal cancer has progressed into a series of severe and painful complications.

Following colorectal surgery, Romeo now lives with a permanent stoma bag — a life-altering adjustment that requires constant care and supplies. Recently, kidney complications required the placement of a nephrostomy stent to preserve kidney function. On top of this, severe S5–L1 spinal compression has developed, causing relentless nerve pain that radiates through the lower back and body.

The pain is constant and debilitating.

Sleep has become nearly impossible. Mobility is profoundly affected. Even sitting, standing, or repositioning in bed can trigger intense suffering. There has been significant functional decline, muscle wasting, and loss of appetite as the body weakens under the strain of cancer and repeated medical interventions.

Despite aggressive treatment and surgical procedures, the prognosis is serious. Ongoing medical care, pain management, specialist follow-ups, imaging, medications, stoma supplies, and supportive therapies are urgently required to maintain comfort and quality of life.

The financial burden has become overwhelming.

Cancer does not just attack the body — it impacts every aspect of life. Hospital bills, surgical costs, medications, home care needs, and basic living expenses continue to accumulate at a pace that is impossible to manage alone.
