Help Roma bring his Sister from Ukraine to the USA
Donation protected
Help! My name is Jason Scott and I have an apartment building that I rented a unit to a Roma and Inna Lychman and their children from Ukraine. When this war started, I reached out to him and asked if there is anything that I can do to help? At first, the USA was not issuing Visas. Now the USA just announced they will be issuing 100,000 visas to people with family here and opening a path for others. Roma's Sister lived in Kyiv but she had to flee with her 2 children to Romania with basically what she could carry with her. Her husband has stayed in Kyiv to be prepared to assist if necessary in the War effort. My heart broke when he told me of this situation. The idea is to raise enough money that when they can get approval for a US visa that we can be in a position to fund the Air Travel round trip and lodging and furniture, clothing and necessities for a number of months. She would have a great support network here with her brother here! After my Facebook post yesterday I received an overwhelming response to people that want to help. I discussed this with Roma and he also identified another family he is friends with that is also working on Visas to get to the USA. For both of these families, even if there is no Visa issued right away, they will need money. I trust Roma and his family to deliver all funds to his sister and family friends to keep their families off the streets and safe that were displaced Putin's horrible War. 100% Will be donated!
