Help Roman's Recovery from Top Surgery

Hello!

My name is Roman. I am a 25 year old trans male living in the Portland, OR area. In July I will be receiving a Gender Affirming Mastectomy (commonly know as “top surgery”) at the Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU). This procedure is part of my physical transition and an important step for both my physical and mental well being.

With all this in mind, I have created this page to ask for financial assistance with the recovery period after the procedure. I will be out of work during this time and will have limited income. I am asking for assistance to pay for rent, supplies for recovery, groceries, and various medical and personal expenses.

I am filled with an indescribable joy in even getting to type this request out. My story is just beginning and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for supporting me whether here, online, in person, or all things in between.
