My dear friends’ son, Roman, was diagnosed with Trilateral Retinoblastoma on July 16th. Roman is the youngest (1), preceded by both his older sister, Ivy (5), and Hezekiah (2).

As of right now, Achilles, the father, has been away from work to be there for both his wife, Baylie, and his youngest son. The best hospital that they are able to go to is nearly a one-hour drive, which they have to make every week except a small handful for the next six months.

“Thankfully we have the peace of the Lord and no matter what happens or how tough things get through this process, we believe what Psalm 145 says ‘Every day I will bless you and praise your name forever and ever. Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised, and his greatness is unsearchable.’ God is good to us and to Roman and He has blessed us with so many wonderful people to help us in this time.”(Achilles, Roman’s father).

The money will go towards the gas for the many trips, food, and every essential item that the family needs during this trying time.
