We’re coming together to support our dear friend and coworker, Romana, a monitor tech who has been a loyal, hardworking, and deeply loved member of our hospital family for over 30 years. Anyone who knows her knows the kindness, calm, and compassion she brings to every shift. She’s always the one taking care of everyone else — now it’s our turn to take care of her.

Recently, a typhoon struck her family back home in Cebu, Philippines, completely destroying six family homes. Her loved ones lost their shelter, their belongings, and the sense of security they built over a lifetime.

Romana is always the first to support others, organize fundraisers, and make sure everyone is cared for (and fed!). Now she is quietly trying to help her own family start over, and we want to lift some of that burden for her.

Any contribution — no matter the amount — will go directly toward helping her family rebuild their homes and replace essential belongings.
