Roman Powell has shown a strong interest in entrepreneurship from the time he could walk and talk. Over the years, he has dreamed up different business ideas, and I’ve always cherished those conversations. Now, at just 9 years old, Roman is ready to launch his very first business. His passion for selling and connecting with people grew as he traveled with me to lacrosse tournaments, helping at our booth and lighting up every time he talked to customers. As his dad, I’m excited to help him see his vision through and support him every step of the way.

To bring Roman’s dream to life, we’re launching Romanade this summer—a lemonade stand that’s 100% his own. The funds we raise will go directly toward the startup costs: a custom tent, cups, lemon press, water jugs, custom t-shirts for staff, table skirt, business license, and tables. This isn’t just about selling lemonade; it’s about giving Roman the chance to learn, grow, and experience the journey of being an entrepreneur. Roman is an awesome kid with the most loving heart and personality, and I know this adventure will help him shine even brighter.
