Help Roman Fight Aggressive T-Cell Lymphoma
Donation protected
Hi! My name is Roman.
I'm an 8 1/2-year-old German Shepherd and I've been diagnosed with Stage 5, large granular T-cell lymphoma. I started presenting with urinary issues in mid-February, then progressed to neurological issues at the beginning of March. My mommy took me to Virginia Tech Veterinary Teaching Hospital in Blacksburg, VA, where I stayed for three days, and they found a mass on my kidney, a mass on my spleen, and lymphocytes in my spinal fluid. After this visit, my mommy took me to the Virginia Tech Animal Cancer Care and Research Center in Roanoke, VA, where I now go for chemotherapy!
God has granted my mommy and me many miracles. On my first visit to the ACCRC, my splenic mass and kidney mass had DISAPPEARED! The doctors couldn't believe it or explain how in only 11 days, they were gone! We started chemotherapy to fight the aggressive lymphocytes, and the masses have not been present at ANY of my appointments. Plus, I have outlived my 2-month prognosis!!
Unfortunately, my T-cell lymphoma is the most aggressive type of lymphoma, so I am on a 25-week chemotherapy protocol. My mommy takes me to Roanoke almost every week. She works very hard to manage her job and my weekly trips for chemotherapy. So, I thought I would see if I can help my mommy out with some of the cost of my treatments.
I would like to surprise my mommy with $7,500 to pay for my remaining chemotherapy treatments.
Please help us if you can.
Paws and licks,
Roman
