Help Roman complete his air safety MSc

Donation protected
I’ve set this up to help our friend Roman Lomberto, who cared for my husband Neil McIntosh - who has Parkinson’s Disease and Dementia - before Neil moved to a care home in October 2024. Roman (pictured above, with Neil) was a kind and dedicated carer for my husband and a great source of support for our family during an incredibly difficult period. He is now in need of support to complete his master’s degree, which he has worked really hard for, and we want to help him as he has helped us.

Roman is an air safety specialist who, while working as a carer, was also completing his MSc in Aeronautical Engineering at Cranfield University, which he was funding himself. He is an international student, and has therefore already paid over £36,000 into the UK’s university system. Despite completing all the work for his course, Roman is unable to submit his dissertation and receive his degree, as he is £3,300 short of the total needed for his course fees due to a family crisis at home which left him with a gap in his finances. Without having been awarded his degree Roman can't get a proper job in his field, meaning he can’t earn enough money to pay the debt. If he can’t pay the final £3,300 by the end of February, his degree won’t be awarded, and all his hard work, as well as over £36,000 of his own money, will be wasted.

Roman’s kind and dedicated care for my husband Neil will alway be remembered by my family. We will always be grateful to anyone who can contribute to help him now — every little helps! Thank you in advance.
