My name is Romal, and I’m reaching out because I’m facing a really tough moment. I was working hard, saving portions of every paycheck so my kids and I could finally have a place to call home. I trusted someone to help with the process, but when they gave the leasing office a check, it bounced. Since then, I have also lost my job. Now, I’ve been told I have until January 15th to provide a money order, or my kids and I will lose our chance at a safe place to live.

This is incredibly hard for me to share. Not long ago, I was sleeping in my car for 45 days before I found my job. I’ve been doing everything I can to keep my family safe and together, but now we’re at risk of being homeless again. I’m not sure if I can raise the full amount in time, but any help would give us hope and help us find a new place to stay.
