My name is Roma, and this is the story of how God has watched over both my dog Ben and myself. Together, we’re facing a battle we never expected—but with faith, resilience, and your support, we believe we can overcome it.

Not long ago, I received the incredible news that I am cancer-free after fighting my own battle with thyroid cancer. However, this journey has left me with $8,500 in medical debt, a heavy financial burden that I am working hard to overcome. Now, as I continue to rebuild my life, an unexpected challenge has arisen: my dog, Ben, has been diagnosed with stage 1 cancer. While his prognosis is good, he urgently needs surgery to ensure his cancer doesn’t spread. The cost of his surgery is estimated at $5,000, adding to the already overwhelming financial strain I’m under.

Ben is more than just a dog; he’s my teammate, my protector, and my daily reminder of hope. He has been with me through every tear, every sleepless night, and every step of my healing journey. When I look into Ben’s eyes, I see more than just a pet—I see a kindred spirit who has walked this path with me. Ben has fought for me every day, and now it’s my turn to fight for him.

Ben and I have been blessed that neither of our cancers has been a fatal diagnosis. This is nothing short of miraculous proof of Jesus working in us and through us.
