Hi. I am a widowed older single parent located in Chicago. I work full time and my daughter is a college student who works part time. Four years ago, we lost my spouse to cancer and beyond the obvious devastation, we have been struggling financially since then. One of our comforts and joys throughout our struggles has been our now 8-year-old Labrador Retriever mix. While he is generally healthy, we have not been able to afford taking him to a veterinarian for even basic services. Our local ASPCA has limited ability beyond basic shots. His last vet visit was around three years ago. The doctors there are willing to work with us to provide him with basic services and shots. We are trying to raise the cost of this visit which would be about $500.00. Anything anyone can contribute would mean so much to my daughter and I and Rollo of course too. Thank you.
