Rollie is our beloved cat, our constant companion, and truly part of our family. He is only 4 years old.

Last night everything changed in a matter of minutes. Rollie was playful, happy, and completely normal. Then suddenly he began struggling to breathe. We rushed him to the emergency vet, where he was immediately placed in an oxygen chamber.

Tests and imaging revealed devastating news. Rollie’s heart is enlarged and there is fluid in his lungs. He is in congestive heart failure.

He is currently hospitalized and fighting. He remains alert and responsive, and has shown some improvement with medication, but he is not yet stable. The next days are critical.

His emergency care has already cost over $3,300, and the bills continue to rise as he receives lifesaving treatment. Once he stabilizes, he will require a cardiologist, an echocardiogram, and daily medication for the rest of his life.

We dont have the savings to cover this and are trying to do everything possible for him.

Rollie is not “just a pet.” He is our boy. Our cuddly, affectionate, headbutting, quirky, loving little soul who fills our home with joy. Seeing him fight for breath has been one of the most heartbreaking experiences of our lives.
