* Upadate: We were able to find a vet that will do the surgery for around $2500. So far we've raised about half of that! I'm changing the goal to cover the to reflect this drop in surgery cost and adding to it some of the emergency vet bill which was $1500. Thank you to all that have donated and showed support in other ways. I greatly appreciate eveyones help!

My sweet fur baby, Rollerball, took a spill and broke her left hind femur some time between Sunday to Monday while I was away picking up Alexis in Philly. We came back to the boat and she was limping and in obvious pain. We got her to an emergency animal hospital yesterday and they x-rayed, confirmed the break, and sent us home w pain medication, a sedative, anti-inflammatory pills, and a list of orthpedic surgeons to call.

After calling everywhere this afternoon the best estimate I got was between $6k-$7k. Between Alexis and I all we got is about $3500.

Please, if you can spare anything to help us get the ball rolling (pun intended,) on her surgery I would be eternally grateful! Please help give Rollerball a chance to live out the rest of her years as an awesome, traveling boat cat!!
