*UPDATE: Roland is cancer free! His biopsy results came back negative. I'll be able to cover his follow up testing and get him started on any specialized medicine or food he may need. Roland is getting more of his appetite back each day and slowly becoming his old self again. It couldn't have happened without all of your help.

I am overwhelmed by everyone's support...

Roland, my sweet eleven-year-old beagle/coonhound mix, has always been pure joy: full of love, curiosity, and that inquisitive hound spirit. Right now, he’s facing a life-threatening emergency. He urgently needs surgery to remove a tumor on his spleen before it ruptures. His veterinarian, Dr. Turner at Magnolia Animal Clinic, believes Roland is a strong candidate for recovery based on his bloodwork and X-rays. The surgery, a splenectomy, will not only reduce his suffering and prevent a life-threatening rupture, but also give us more time together and the chance to understand what lies ahead once the mass is tested.

Unfortunately, this all comes at a time when I’m already facing a major financial setback. My only vehicle is currently undergoing transmission repairs, and the cost has stretched my finances to their absolute limit. I’ve leaned on my family as much as I can, and I’m now at a point where I truly need help. So far, I’ve already paid for Roland’s initial assessment, and the surgery and medications are expected to be significant, with the final total confirmed after his procedure on Monday, March 23rd.

Every dollar raised will go directly toward his veterinary care and recovery, and will also help me stay afloat as I work to catch up on essential expenses this summer.
