Roland is a cherished member of our Christ Community Church family in Mira Mesa, especially within the men's group. Over the years, he has built strong friendships and has always been there for others in our small, close-knit congregation. Now, Roland is facing a series of challenges that have all come at once, and he needs our help.
Roland is an older gentleman living alone, and his health has taken a toll on him. He has severe diabetes, which recently led to the loss of several toes, and he now has to wear a boot to get around. Despite these hardships, Roland has shown incredible resilience and just started a new job. Unfortunately, the engine in his 2012 Honda Accord blew out, making it nearly impossible for him to get to work or stay connected with our church community. To make matters even more difficult, his landlord has given him a 60-day notice to move out because the house is being sold, adding to his stress and uncertainty.
We are raising funds to help Roland replace the engine in his 2012 Honda Accord. Having reliable transportation will not only make it easier and more affordable for him to get to work, but it will also restore his independence—allowing him to attend church, visit friends, and regain a sense of normalcy. Roland is a truly sweet person, and our hearts go out to him as he faces these overwhelming circumstances. Any support you can offer will go a long way in easing his burden and helping him move forward.
