Rohith Venkata Sai Mahendra Achanta is a 16-year-old boy suffering from acute kidney problems which unfortunately have led to the failure of both of his kidneys. He is currently in critical condition and is going through dialysis treatments 3-4 times a week. He is urgently in need of a kidney transplant and needs our help to get through this difficult time.

Rohith is the elder child of his parents Narasimha Rao Achanta and Naga Satya Veni Achanta. They are from Bhimavaram, Andhra Pradesh, India and are currently living in Hyderabad, India. His father works as a mason in Hyderabad. Rohith was in the 11th grade of school until he was forced to drop out due to the ongoing medical issues.

Rohith has suffered from kidney problems since he was 8 years old. Although these problems were managed using medications as advised by his doctor, recently his condition has worsened considerably. This led to him being taken to emergency care where it was discovered that both his kidneys were in very weak condition. Despite the efforts of the doctors, there has been no improvement in his health and this situation has sadly led to the failures of his kidneys. As such, Rohith is undergoing dialysis treatments 3-4 times a week and urgently needs a kidney transplant. Additionally, on Feb 12, he suffered a lung infection which has added to his health complications. The doctor has said that the kidney transplant procedure should ideally be scheduled before the 1st week of March. Fortunately, Rohith's mother is a good match for kidney donation for him and she is ready to donate her kidney to her son.

Rohith's family has already spent a huge sum of money for his treatment so far, however, they still need more than 1.2 million Indian Rupees (~ approx. $15,000 USD) for the kidney transplant procedure. But they are unable to bear such a tremendous amount since his family comes from a middle-class background. If you can, please consider donating or atleast sharing this.
