My name is Roger, and I am a single father of four amazing children, including a wonderful daughter with special needs. Just a few days ago, our lives changed forever when our home burned down. We are truly blessed to have made it out alive, but we lost everything else. The fire destroyed all of our possessions, and to make matters worse, the septic system flooded the land, leaving us with nowhere to turn. We left with nothing but the clothes we were wearing, and now we are trying to figure out how to start over from scratch.

Right now, our most urgent needs are finding temporary housing and replacing the essentials we lost. We are also hoping to rebuild our home so that my children and I can have a safe place to live again. The timing is especially difficult, as my first grandchild is due to be born in just two weeks, and they lived with us as well. The thought of not having a home to welcome this new life is heartbreaking, but I am determined to do everything I can for my family.
