A lot of you know me but my name is Emily Weishapl and my dad, Roger Lambert, has been diagnosed with stage 3/4 lung cancer. I don't know a world without my dad and it has been a struggle to think about all of the possible outcomes. Currently he has a 20 cm mass in his right lung that has caused him to have great difficulty breathing. The good news is that doctors have said that they do not see any cancer in the other lung or other parts of the body. The doctors have determined however that this is a very progressive cancer but are hopeful that with chemotherapy they will be able to shrink the tumor and then take the next steps from there. We are praying more than anything but I know that my parents will have lots of medical and travel expenses. I will be also be traveling back a lot to northwest Kansas from western Colorado which adds up quickly. If you find it in your heart and would like to donate to help with some of these expenses we are extremely grateful. And if you’re unable to a simple prayer can be so powerful and Lord knows we can use as many of those as we can get.
