Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,

Our beloved friends, Roger Howrey, his wife Judy, and Roger's son Nick, experienced every homeowner's worst nightmare on the evening of Thursday, July 3rd. Their home, a place of warmth, laughter, and cherished memories, was tragically engulfed in a horrific fire.

The blaze, which originated in the garage, spread with terrifying speed, quickly consuming the roof and the entire structure. They were hosting an early 4th of July celebration, and thankfully, everyone present escaped unharmed – a true blessing amidst the devastation. However, they watched in horror as firefighters battled valiantly, but ultimately, the roof collapsed, and their home was completely destroyed.

Roger, Judy, and Nick have lost virtually everything. Beyond the walls of their house, countless irreplaceable possessions, family heirlooms, and the comfort of their daily lives turned to ash in a single night. They literally walked out with only the clothes on their backs.

While they are incredibly grateful for the generosity of friends who have provided immediate shelter, they are now facing the daunting task of rebuilding their lives from scratch.

They need our help to begin the long road to recovery. Every donation, no matter how small, will provide vital immediate relief for essentials like clothing, food, temporary housing, and the countless unexpected costs that arise after such a traumatic event. It will help them navigate this incredibly difficult time and begin to piece their lives back together.
