As most of you know, my dad is paralyzed and in a wheelchair. After my dads accident he decided to stay in Fort Gay with my biological family.  Unfortunately, it seems like my dad wasn’t in the best situation and his doctors don’t want him to go back there. 

I found a house in Huntington that we can afford to maintain rent on, but unfortunately the landlord isn’t willing to help much as far as working with us on the deposit, & first and last months rent. Normally this wouldn’t be a big issue but it’s a week before Christmas and I lost my job a few months ago during the pandemic. I have training for a new job in January that takes place in Miami, but that isn’t going to help me much now.

That’s why I’m coming to you guys for help. 

My brother, Roger, is going to live with my dad, and I’ll be less than 5 minutes away. This is the best situation for my dad and us. I can’t bare the thought of putting my dad in a nursing home. He’s so young and full of life. I just want to be able to give him what he deserves. 

I have a lot of pride and making this go fund me was not easy for me. I just don’t know what else to do. I just want to bring my dad home, to a HOME.
