My house burned down recently, and I am still coming to terms with the loss. In a matter of hours, everything I owned was destroyed, and I found myself without a place to call home. The past several days have been overwhelming, but the care, prayers, and emotional support from friends and neighbors have helped me keep going. I am deeply grateful for everyone who has reached out and offered comfort during this incredibly difficult time.

I am especially thankful to several friends who have provided me with temporary housing. Their generosity has given me a safe place to stay while I begin to rebuild. However, I now need help to secure more permanent housing, as well as to cover the costs of food and clothing. The financial loss is in the tens of thousands, and because I had just moved in, I was not yet on the lease. This means that insurance coverage is highly unlikely, leaving me to start over from scratch.
