Life changes in a second. Rodrigo “Rod”, 19 years old, with all the desire to start college again, always giving the best example to his brother, with a positive attitude everyday, and always in such a good mood. I can’t say enough what an excellent son he is.
Today an irresponsible driver, an 18 wheeler made a turn without noticing him, hit him very badly and ended up unconscious in the middle of the avenue, with multiple fractures and injuries; his foot and ankle, hand, wrist, arm, ribs, shoulder, cheekbone and with the risk of a long-term involvement of his left eye.
Several surgeries, medications, physical therapy will be necessary for his recovery. The road will undoubtedly be a long one, and we are grateful that Ro is alive, but paying for the expenses of hospitals, medicines and physical therapy will be a great challenge to face.
We ask the entire community for Ro's recovery, thanking you for any support at this time.

La vida cambia en un segundo. Rodrigo “Ro”, a sus 19 años, con todas la ganas de arrancar nuevamente el college, dando el mejor ejemplo para su hermano, siempre positivo y de buen humor, y siendo un excelente hijo, un chofer irresponsable lo envistió hoy por la mañana dejándolo inconsciente en plena avenida, con múltiples fracturas y lesiones; tobillo, muñeca, brazo, costillas, hombro, pómulo y riesgo de afectación a largo plazo de su ojo izquierdo.
Varias cirugías y meses serán necesarias para su recuperación. El camino sin duda será largo y agradecidos estamos de que Ro esté con vida, pero solventar los gastos de hospitales, medicamentos y terapias será un gran reto a enfrentar.
Pedimos a toda la comunidad que pidan mucho por la recuperación de Ro, agradeciendo tu apoyo en estos momentos.
