Hi! I'm sharing this GoFundMe for my brother Rodrigo, who is currently going through the process of returning back to Peru after some difficult years in Spain, and for his cat Taki, who I've known since she was a little baby. Here's what he has to say (later in English):

"Hola! Les presento a Taki, una gatita guerrera de 17 años que viene siendo mi compañera tanto en los altos como en los bajos. Ella viajó conmigo a España desde Perú con la ilusión de quedarnos a vivir acá, pero después de más de dos años afrontando las dificultades de migrar, he tomado la difícil decisión de regresar a Perú.

Afrontar los gastos de nuestro retorno está resultando más complicado de lo que imaginé, y para poder regresar juntos, Taki tiene que pasar ciertas pruebas y recibir algunas vacunas/inyecciones requeridas para el Certificado Médico de viaje.

Para su edad sigue sana, saltando y arañando mis muebles. Es una gatita feliz, tímida pero cariñosa conmigo y estoy seguro que le quedan muchos años por delante para que compartamos juntos.

De no conseguir los medios para financiar nuestro retorno tendré que considerar ponerla en adopción, pero estoy decidido a no llegar a esa opción y para eso necesito su ayuda.

"Hello! Meet Taki, a 17-year-old feisty cat who has been my companion through thick and thin. She traveled with me to Spain from Peru with the hope of staying here, but after more than two years of facing the difficulties of migration, I have made the difficult decision to return to Peru.

Facing the costs of our return is proving more challenging than I imagined, and in order to go back home together, Taki must pass certain tests and receive some vaccinations/injections required for the Travel Medical Certificate.

For her age, she's still healthy, jumping and scratching my furniture. She's a happy, shy, but affectionate cat, and I'm sure she has many years ahead of her that we can share together.

If I can't find the means to finance our return, I'll have to consider putting her up for adoption, but I'm determined not to take that route, and for that, I need your help.
