Hi friends,

I’m putting this out there on behalf of my dear friend Rodney, who lives just outside Richmond, Virginia. Rodney has devoted years of his life to caring & sharing his beautiful raptors. He’s not just a bird handler—he’s a quiet, humble steward of wildlife who’s never asked for help, but really needs it now.

Rodney’s 2003 Chevy Tahoe has broken down.

He depends on it to get bird food and supplies, attend wildlife programs, and—most importantly—get to emergency vet appointments if needed. Right now, he’s stranded and can’t travel. We’re hoping to raise enough for a small, reliable SUV to keep him and his raptors safe and mobile.

What the funds will go toward:

• A used small SUV: $6,000–$8,000

• Aviary rebuild materials (lumber, wire, hardware): $1,500

• Cooling system (AC unit or misting fan): $300–$500

• Emergency vet fund: $500

Goal: $8,500–$10,000
