Help Rodney and Adam through health and hardship

It's not easy to open up about my journey, but I know that sharing my story is the first step towards a better future.

My health took a turn for the worse back in 2018/2019, starting with a ruptured appendix that led to complicated surgery and subsequent damage to my gallbladder and pancreas. Since then, I have faced numerous hospital visits and ongoing struggles with pancreatitis and other stomach issues. To add to the challenges, my vision started deteriorating, and I was eventually diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes. The year 2020 brought the added complication of COVID-19, making my healthcare even more complex as I began experiencing nerve damage in my feet and bladder due to diabetes.

Beyond my health battles, I have been a single parent raising my son since he was 2 years old. He stood by me through my health struggles, putting his life on hold to support me. Additionally, I had a successful business that I had to close down to prioritize my well-being, eventually selling my home in 2021 to cover mounting bills. Over the years, I have been slowly working towards regaining my health and rebuilding my life, but the recent diagnosis of pancreatic cancer has turned our world upside down.

My son, is now facing his own challenges, and it breaks my heart to see him suffer. Financially, I was already struggling before this diagnosis, and now I am filled with worry about covering my medical expenses while focusing on my treatment. More than anything, I want to ensure that my son has the support and resources he needs, especially if the worst were to happen. He has sacrificed more than enough already.
