Friends, as much as I hate to do this, I need to ask for help. My car requires about $4,000 in repairs (head gasket, catalytic converter, and front-end work). Right now, I simply don’t have the funds to cover this. My goal is to replace it with an inexpensive used car that can hopefully last me for a while.

I’m working as much as I can—sometimes more than my doctor recommends—and I’ve had a few major expenses recently that wiped out what savings I had.
