My name is Stacy Adams. As many of you know and some may not, my buddy Rod Rentz is facing a fight that no one ever wants to face. He’s the kind of person who shows up—every single time—whether it’s early morning practices, late-night games, or just being there when someone needs encouragement. As a coach, he’s poured his heart into this community, shaping not just better athletes but better people, always leading with patience, humor, and a belief in every kid he works with. Recently, he was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer, and it’s been a heavy, heartbreaking turn for someone who has given so much to others. Now, it’s our turn to show up for him.
