Hi, my name is Vanessa. I am reaching out for help once again for my dog, Rocky. A little over a year ago, Rocky went through a difficult surgery after suffering from bladder stones that caused repeated and painful blockages. Thanks to the kindness and support of many people, he recovered and was able to return to his happy self.

Recently, Rocky began showing the same symptoms again. He was struggling to urinate and was clearly in pain, so I rushed him to the emergency vet. After tests and an evaluation, we learned that his bladder stones have returned and are causing another obstruction. This condition can be recurring in some dogs, even with a strict diet and regular checkups, and unfortunately Rocky is one of those cases.

The vet has recommended surgery as soon as possible to remove the stones and prevent further damage. I have been doing everything I can to stay prepared for Rocky’s medical needs, but the cost of another emergency surgery and follow-up care is more than I can manage on my own. Rocky is an emotional support dog for my son and a very important part of our family. Euthanasia is not an option for us because his condition can be managed with treatment, even if it may require ongoing care. We want to give him the chance to recover and continue living the comfortable and happy life he deserves.
