On July 10th, our sweet dogs Rocky and Ella were viciously attacked by a wild animal in our own backyard. Ella came out with a few cuts and stitches, but Rocky came dangerously close to losing his life. Thanks to Cornell’s emergency surgery and intensive care, Rocky survived — but he has a long road ahead.

Since the attack, Rocky has needed ongoing veterinary treatment, wound care, medications, and multiple follow-up visits. We’re doing everything we can to support his recovery, but the costs are quickly becoming overwhelming.

Rocky isn’t just a pet — he’s family. He’s goofy, loyal, affectionate beyond belief, and the heart of our home. Watching him suffer has been heartbreaking, and we’re committed to getting him all the care he needs. That’s why we’re asking for help.
