Rocky is a sweet 16-month-old puppy who has been in limbo for almost nine weeks. His owner, my neighbor, was recently incarcerated—a victim of the overpolicing that has affected so many in DC. Since then, Rocky has been without a permanent home, and despite his loving nature, he’s struggled to find a foster or adoptive family. I’ve been caring for him during this uncertain time, hoping to give him the stability and support he deserves.

Rocky is a wonderful dog with so much potential, but he needs a little extra help to thrive. Training services will help him develop good behaviors and improve his leash walking, making him an even better companion for a future family. He also needs vaccinations to keep him healthy and ready for adoption. These steps are crucial for giving Rocky the best chance at a happy, secure future.
