Rocky’s journey began when my nieces spotted him in their neighborhood, suffering from neglect. They were too scared to report the abuse, but when I visited them one day, Rocky appeared and hopped into my car, as if he knew he was ready for a new start. I took him home, seeing it as a sign that he needed help. Over the past eight months, I’ve cared for Rocky alongside my own two dogs and a cat, and it’s been clear that his reactivity is a result of the neglect and abuse he endured.

Wanting to give Rocky the best chance at a happy life, I reached out to a dog trainer who had unexpectedly sent me a friend request. After meeting him, he agreed to help Rocky, and I began saving up for boarding and training. Boarding is expensive, but I know it’s what Rocky needs to overcome his challenges and find his forever home. Unfortunately, just as I was close to having the funds, I was scammed while selling items online, and lost what I had saved. Now, I’m asking for help so Rocky can get the care he deserves.
