Hello!

I honestly don’t know where to start as I’ve never thought I’d ever need to do anything like this. Some or most of you may know my cat Rocky; well, he hasn’t been doing well recently. I noticed a few weeks ago that he wasn’t acting like himself—grumpy, antisocial. I brushed it off as him being jealous of his kitty siblings or just changes in his environment. Fast forward to this week, Rocky had been vomiting quite frequently, and when I brought him to the vet, his kidney and liver values came back high, during his ultrasound his kidneys and liver appeared abnormal. The vet is suspecting stage 3 out of 4 Kidney Disease(This is irriversable). In order to properly treat him, we would need to perform a biopsy , which would range from 4-5k. Without Surgery he would need to take medications to help provide a better quality of life until we are able to do so. I am posting in hopes that friends and family can donate or share; anything helps.

Thank you guys so much for taking the time to read this. If you cannot donate, please share!

(2025 UPDATE)

Hello Everyone!

On Saturday January 12th Rocky's little brother Giovanni fell ill with some sort of mystery illness, we rushed him to the emergency vet and they determined that he had injured his spine and prescribed him Gabapentin and some anti inflammatory medication. With hopes he would make a recovery he seemed to be getting worse, lethargic, not eating, unable to lift himself up and appeared to have lost some weight. We rushed him back to the same emergency clinic but it was a different vet, they were unable to determine what was wrong with him even after extensive tests. I decided to take him to my regular vet and they preformed similar and more extensive tests and have come back with nothing. All of these visits have summed up to over 5k. We have maxed out one card alone for the treatment we have gotten him so far. He is due for a recheck to see if he is making any improvements.

As for Rocky, He is doing so much better now that he has been on his steroid treatment! I would like to thank Happy Valley Pet Hospital in Campbell for taking such good care of my furry child! I would definitely recommend them to anyone who has any future endeavors with their furry children!

I would like to thank all that were able to share and donate, every last penny went towards Rock and his Siblings medical needs!
