Woof Woof!
My name is Rocky C.
I am a playful good boy puppy, as I am only 10 months old. I live in the country and I love it that way! I take care of my family and have been with them for 9 months. They take care of me and make sure that I have everything I need. In my eagerness to protect them, I hurt my leg. My vet says I need surgery to make me better. The surgery is urgent, costly, and taking place on 01/20/2026 with Dr. Brady. My doctor said the recovery will be the hardest part! He knows I will want to run and jump as soon as the surgery is done. My family just wants me to be healthy and playful, and I just can't wait!!
Please consider helping me and my people. With your help, I can only hope to be out there chasing chickens and running with the horses soon. My family is hoping to fundraise enough to cover the Orthopedic Surgeon Expenses.
Here I am during my visit to my wonderful Vet. She took pictures of me! Careful not to touch my leg please :D
Here's the picture she got.
Afterwards she provided a diagnosis, and she kindly bandaged my leg.
The doctor has quoted us for the surgery a lot of money, or so my humans say. I'll let my human provide more information next.
WOOF YOU!!

Howdy Folks!
Thanks so much for reading about our cause. If you've made it this far, I hope it means that Rocky has touched your heart. He really is a great boy and he loves his life. We live out in the country in SE Texas. Rocky has lots of space for running, playing, sleeping, and wondering - which he does often! He loves to chase chickens, chicks, rodents, and all of the stray cats! He's our only dog and he is the most eager protector we have ever had.
Normally, he runs loose at night because that's how he protects us. However, it was last week at night when he got hurt. We aren't really sure how, but our vet believes that he jumped and came down too hard on his leg, thus breaking his knee joint on his hind leg. (I KNOW! INSANE! But that should show you how quick and eager he is to chase unwanted animals out of our property!)
We love him and really want to keep him. Please help us reach our goal of $3,360.00. This covers the surgery, post op care, overnight stay at the pet hospital and supporting medication for the next 14 days.
Thanks so much for checking out Rocky's story. We hope you can help us even if it is with just $5.00, or sharing our cause.
LOVE Y'ALL,
THIS TEXAS GAL
