Help Rocky Fight Again: Emergency Surgery to Save His Life

---

Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,

On July 1st, our world came crashing down when our 7-year-old French Bulldog, Rocky—named after the fighter who “goes the distance”—began screaming in agony. Rushing him to the ER, we learned he was battling IVDD, the same spinal condition that paralyzed him at age 4. Back then, after two surgeries and months of rehab, he defied the odds to walk—and even run—again. But now, this relentless disease is threatening to take his life.

Rocky’s Story: A Fighter’s Spirit
Rocky isn’t just a pet—he’s family. I’ve raised him since he was 8 weeks old, and he’s lived up to his namesake every day: stealing socks, shredding Amazon boxes (they never stood a chance!), and claiming 90% of the bed while snoozing sideways. He’s the pup who waddles with joy on walks, demands cookies after his adventures, and plays tug-of-war so fiercely his toys last two weeks max. His grit and sass have gotten him through hell before—but this time, he needs us to fight for him.

The Crisis: Time is Running Out
Today, our brave boy is trapped in a crate, too pained to follow me to the kitchen or cuddle. We’re changing puppy pads hourly as he loses control of his bowels, and even head scratches—his favorite—are the only comfort we can give without hurting him. The vet warns that without surgery in the next week, he could lose bladder control permanently—or worse, suffer a fatal cardiorespiratory event if the herniated disc worsens.

The Plan: MRI + Surgery + Rehab
1️⃣ $4,000 MRI: To locate the damaged disc (urgent—delays are deadly).
2️⃣ $5,000–$7,000 Surgery: To relieve pressure on his spine.
3️⃣ Post-Op Care: Medications, rehab, and follow-ups for recovery.

We’ve already spent $4,000 on ER stays, neurology consults, and a mountain of medications (painkillers, steroids, muscle relaxers). We’ve applied for CareCredit and loans, but even with help from loved ones, we’re facing an $11,000 mountain.

Why We’re Humbling Ourselves to Ask
I’ve never been good at asking for help. But sitting in that hospital, hearing the neurologist say, “He’s a fighter—this is his only chance,” I broke down. Rocky has given me 7 years of relentless love, laughter, and sock thefts. Now, I’m swallowing my pride to beg: We can’t save him alone.

How You Can Help
- Donate: Every $5 adds up. Donors of $100+ will get a “paw-tographed” thank-you card from Rocky!
- Share: Tag animal lovers, coworkers, or even Sylvester Stallone fans (Rocky Balboa would approve!).
- Pray: Send hope for his MRI, surgery, and speedy return to his Amazon box-destroying glory.

Updates & Transparency
We’ll post weekly updates—from pre-op prep to rehab milestones. Every dollar will go directly to his care, and we’ll share receipts openly.

Rocky has fought too hard to lose now. Together, let’s give this stubborn, cookie-loving, bed-hogging hero the miracle he deserves.

With tears, gratitude, and hope,
Tiffany, Nevada, & Rocky
