Help Rocky Dance Again

Hello everyone. My name is Victoria and I am starting this Go Fund Me to help my sister Rachel's dog.

Meet Rocky. Rocky is a 6 year old Maltese with abundant energy and a weird obsession with socks. Rocky lives in North Carolina with his dog sister Chyna and human mom Rachel. He loves going on walks, playing with toys, and getting up on his hind legs to dance for you. He is truly a pup that you fall in love with the second you meet him.

On Sunday in the middle of the night, Rachel rushed Rocky to the emergency room. He had been up crying for a better part of the night and she knew something was very wrong. After what felt like an eternity, she finally was able to get some answers from the ER doctor. Rocky has a slipped disks in his back that require major surgery. The surgery required (IVDD) is not common in dogs his size, however due to his run around, energic nature, it is imperative for his quality of life. The doctors explained to her that this diagnosis gone untreated will lead to paralysis for her baby Rocky. That it's not a matter of "if", but "when". Everyday that passes, puts him one day further into the danger zone.

The amount is to cover the cost of the surgery and rehabilitation that will be needed for Rocky to regain his mobility and get back to dancing again.
