Help cover Rocky Ali’s medical & post op expenses

Hey there everyone. I’ve only ever made 2 of these, one was to raise money for Christians family when he passed away, and the other was ironically for Rocky Ali back in July of 2022 when he broke his hip jumping out of my Jeep.

Well, humbly and gracefully I am here again for Rocky Ali. Yesterday he became very ill VERY FAST. I took him to the vet at 9am due to mild sick like symptoms and we were sent home with medicine but by 5pm he had declined rapidly.

I rushed him to Indy Vet where we spent the next 6 hours awaiting a diagnosis ( BLOAT : a common killer of large breed dogs) and then be told they didn’t have the ability to preform the emergency surgery he needed at that moment in time. I paid the 1200$ owed to them via Care Credit, which maxed it out.

I arrived to Indy Air Vet at 1am, and Rocky was rushed into emergency surgery. The doctor told me Rocky had less than a 10% chance of survival due to how much time had been wasted, but he would do everything he could. I broke down and explained to the Doctor in the last 2 weeks I’ve lost my Wife to infidelity, I’ve lost my home we purchased together, I’ve lost a child in July, and if I lost Rocky there was a very good chance I would lose myself too. The doctor looked me in the eyes and assured me he will do everything in his power to bring my boy home.

I prayed to God out loud sobbing my eyes out for the next 2 1/2 hours until I was told Rocky Ali survived the operation and will be ready to come home today.

My total at Indy Air Vet came out just north of 4,000$, on top of the 1200$ at Indy Vet, and we still have post op appointments to attend and lots of medication during his recovery.

Just last week alone I spent 5,000$ to get myself and my two doggos into a safe living environment and out of my old home. 5,000$ I truly didn’t have.

Fast forward to now, and I just had to spend another 5,000$+ I didn’t have to save my dogs life, and honestly save mine too.

I come here today as humble and grateful as I can possibly be to ask for ANY HELP from anyone who’s in the position to help.

What I did last night wasn’t financially responsible, but I wouldn’t be able to live with myself if I didn’t save him. I have to take the next two weeks off of work to help take care of Rocky Ali during his recovery, and if I can raise the money to cover his medical expenses I will be in way less of a hole that I am right now in this moment in time.

I hate being in this position of asking for help, but this worked last time when Rocky needed hip surgery, so here I am again once more for this crazy dog I love with my entire existence.
