Hi, my name is Jade, and I’m raising funds for my soul dog, Rocko, who was recently diagnosed with Osteosarcoma (bone cancer). This type of cancer is very aggressive, and very fast pace. Hearing those words crushed us (and thats an understatment)—Rocko is not just a pet, he’s family. He has been apart of our lives ever since he was found in a trash can around 4-6 weeks old. Through every adult milestone, to watching us become parents, to helping me through postpartum depression, to being the best friend to our kiddo. He is the best thing to happen to us.

After lots of tears and conversations with our vet, we’ve made the difficult but hopeful decision to move forward with amputating his leg, where the cancer has eaten away a portion of his bone. This surgery would relieve his pain and give him the best possible chance at spending more quality time with us—time filled with belly rubs, sunshine naps, and unconditional love. It will also elimate the risk of his bone snapping while just walking around. This is something that needs to happen within the next 2 weeks, which is why we need help.

The cost of Rocko’s surgery, treatment, and follow-up care is overwhelming. While we are doing everything we can to cover what we can, we can’t do this alone. We’re reaching out to our friends, family, and kind-hearted community to ask for help in giving Rocko a fighting chance.
