Help Rocket's Emergency Blood Transfusion

My partner Lohit has been reunited with his 6-year old cat Rocket after he was lost for 5 weeks.

He came back with half of his body weight (now 7lbs), anemic, malnourished, and dehydrated. This is what he looked like before (13lbs):

He did not eat more than 3 teaspoons a day after he came back, so had to be taken to vet specialists for an emergency visit, who told us that he will
need a blood transfusion, ultrasound, xrays, and be hospitalized for 48 hours.
They told him that if it's a bacterial cause of anemia, he can be treated with antibiotics after the initial diagnosis process. They gave him an estimate that ranged from $4948.92 and $6774.70 (see photo below) for this visit + these emergency diagnoses/treatments.
Lohit has had Rocket for 4 years, and he is the most affectionate, loving cat I have ever met. He sits on Lohit's lap when he's at home working, purrs like a machine, and drools when he's happy. He is also incredibly smart, knows how to fetch like a dog, extremely energetic, and loves his toy mouse Alfred.

Lohit was absolutely devastated that Rocket got out; he is normally an indoor-only cat and accidentally escaped the house one night. We put up flyers every street corner, searched for him every night on foot, and after 5 weeks, we got a call about a cat that was on the brink of starvation in someone's backyard and it turned out to be Rocket.
Please consider helping cover Rocket's emergency vet costs. Just when we thought that everything would be fine after Rocket came home, Lohit is now overridden with the financial burden of simply loving your animal and considering them a family member.

Rocket means too much to him to even consider not getting this treatment for him; and I know how much this would add to what has already been difficult trying to find Rocket in the first place.
Lohit means so much to me - he is a very caring, independent person who is always the one giving help tho those who need it. I know how bad he feels about asking for help, and how much he needs it right now. I am asking you for him, to please help him out if you can. Anything you can give helps.

And to those who aren't in the financial state to help - we still thank you for your time for reading our story and the love and care you are providing into the world.
