Help Rocket and sue attend sisters inside confrce

I dream of starting a similar organisation to sisters inside but I want to start one in Darwin. Sisters inside are holding their 10th international conference in Brisbane Australia from the 28th-30th October 2020 I am trying to raise funds for myself and my friend sue to be able to fly down to Brisbane and be able to afford a hotel, food, transport and anything else ive missed whilst down in Brisbane + return flights. Debbie Kilroy is my biggest inspiration I want to be so much like her and help people associated with the justice system here in darwin and advocate for women who can’t or won’t advocate for themselves. I want to help people help themselves and by attending this conference  I hope to gain valuable knowledge that myself and friend Sue  could use to help us start up our own chapter of sisters inside or something similar in the way of advocating for positive change. Ie more programs in the women’s section of darwin correctional centre, helping prisoners and ex prisoners gain full time employment, supporting family’s associated with the justice system and also shining the spotlight on some of the injustices within the justice system. I myself have lived experience with the justice system and so does Sue and it is this experience that has led me to want to do this type of work in the future.
