Hello everyone, my name is Rochelle Clunie, and I am reaching out on behalf of my family in Belmont, Bluefields, Westmoreland, Jamaica — my mother, father, sister, brother, and our beautiful children: six nieces and one nephew who all call this place home.

Recently, Hurricane Melissa devastated our community. The storm brought heavy winds and flooding that caused severe damage to our family home and the area around us. Roofs were torn, belongings were destroyed, and daily necessities have now become challenges. What was once a safe and stable home for the children is now in deep need of repair and support.

My family is doing their best to stay strong, but the reality is that they are facing hardships far beyond their resources. With the cost of living rising and limited job opportunities in our area, rebuilding is extremely difficult without help.
