Help Rocco The Chorlton Rescue Dog

Hi everyone, as your aware I along with Marie Nigel and others, rescued Rocco the Cane Corso over a year ago, from a loveless neglectful home in Chorlton. He lived outside in a broken shed, no bedding, no heating, and little food or water. Rocco lived a lonely cold life for many years, before being rehomed to his mum who adores him beyond words. Rocco upon adoption was insured instantly and still is to this day. Sadly after a visit to the vets recently Rocco has been diagnosed with ACL and severe arthritis and needs 2 operations, on both knees and his hips. Lisa’s insurance will not cover this, and she’s now been referred by her vets to animals trust, as she is refusing to let Rocco down like his past owners. Lisa said ‘he’s my best friend, Iv taken on a second job to pay for it’

his first op is £3,000, booked in the 28th, and the 2nd op 8 weeks later is £2,600.

Lisa is the best dog owner I could ask for, so I’m hoping to ease the bill she’s footing because of someone else’s heartless neglect. Anything will help, Rocco had a very sad life, and deserves the chance to have more happy years than he’s had bad.
