My name is Robyn, and I’m reaching out because my family is facing a series of unexpected challenges. Just recently, we had a water break in our home that will be expensive to repair. This happened right after my washer and fridge broke, adding even more stress to an already difficult situation. Our landlord has let us know that our water will be shut off until the repair is made, which means my family is at risk of losing access to something as basic as running water.

I’m doing my best to keep everything paid and provide for my family, but these last two weeks have really put me in a tough spot mentally and financially. On top of the repairs, we lost our EBT benefits because my oldest started working, so I’m now covering groceries as well. It’s been overwhelming trying to juggle all these expenses while making sure my family’s needs are met. To make things even harder, all of this is happening right at Christmas time, which is the worst time of year for something like this to happen.

I am editing to add we had to have a different company come out to estimate having the water drained so the plumber could come fix the pipes, he quoted us a maximum of 7500$ to have it done.
