Help Robyn's Family Keep the Lights On

My name is Robyn. I’m a mom of a total of 5 children. Two of them live at home with me and their father. Unfortunately, I had multiple strokes back in August, and it left me unable to walk for an entire month. I’m just now finally getting around somewhat normally. I still use a cane and need assistance but I’ve made major improvements! I still have not been able to get my blood pressure under control and am at constant risk of having another stroke. Hopefully, soon we can figure out something that will handle it and true healing can begin.

My health has made it so that I cannot work, and neither can my spouse as he has had to care for me, our home, and the children. This has understandably made it incredibly hard to pay our bills, and with the outrageous prices going around, our electric bill is very high. Unfortunately, we’ve exhausted all the help that social services can give, and they can no longer give anywhere near as much as they used to be able to. Our electric has now been shut off and my son is due to have surgery in a few days. It’s embarrassing to ask for help like this, but unfortunately, I have no choice. Hopefully, soon I can get better and life can return to normal, but as people who were just barely scraping by before, we’ll never be able to catch up even then. Hopefully, you can find it in your heart to help turn power on for our kids! We could and would survive, but they need to have power.
