Help Robyn Get Her Life Saving Medication
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Denise and I'm fundraising for my daughter Robyn.
We live in Ontario, Canada and have just found out that the government will no longer cover a life saving, life sustaining medication for my daughter Robyn (pictured). It is a Canada wide policy, due to a 472% price increase in the medication she requires.
Robyn became ill at the age of 12, after contracting the H1N1 virus. She developed several autoimmune disorders as a result. Robyn requires Sodium Chromolyn to treat her Mast Cell. This medication helps quieten down her hyperactive immune system. She reacts to most foods and many environmental triggers as well. Symptoms can be a combination of difficulty breathing, gums blistering, rashes, sudden drops in blood pressure, convulsions....just to name a few. Robyn requires an epi-pen now that her reactions are so severe, but thanks to the Sodium Chromolyn she rarely has emergencies.
I'm hoping the government will eventually rescind their delisting of this life saving medication. In the meantime, I'm hoping this Go Fund Me page could get enough donations so that my daughter Robyn can afford the life saving medication that she so desperately needs. Anything you can do to help would be appreciated.
