Toll Gate High School's robotics team, the Robo-Titans, has just made history. After months of late nights, problem-solving, setbacks, and breakthroughs, our students won the Rhode Island State Championship. Winning this championship earned our team a coveted spot in the FIRST Tech Challenge World Championship in Houston, Texas. This honor can only be said for 336 out of over 8,000 teams across the globe. The World Championship takes place from April 29th through May 2nd, 2026, and the team could use all the support we can get.

At our qualifier, we were one of the top teams but were unfortunately cut short of finishing due to the tragedy that occurred at Brown University. With this placement, we advanced to the State Competition at North Kingstown High School. At the Rhode Island State Championship, we were the 1st Place Alliance Captain. This performance, combined with the strength of our portfolio, gave our team the opportunity to make it to the World Competition. Our robot was built by 12 dedicated students who are sophomores, juniors, and seniors, who now face the challenge of competing against other high school teams around the globe.

As a team, we are asking for contribution, no matter the size, to bring us one step closer to Houston. Donations will go directly to assist with registration fees, travel expenses, and expenses related to transporting our equipment and robot.
